A foundation started by the team behind the Tower Grove Farmers’ Market in St. Louis, providing grants and affordable financing to help local food entrepreneurs grow, sustain, and thrive.

For more than 20 years, we have worked directly with small farms and food businesses through the Tower Grove, BLVD, and Rockwell Farmers’ Markets in St. Louis.

In that time, we have seen how challenging it can be for small, independent producers to access affordable capital especially at the moments when it matters most.

The TGFM Foundation was created to help fill that gap: providing practical, accessible funding to the people who grow and make our local food.

Grants

Small-scale funding to support early-stage needs, critical investments, or unexpected challenges.

Low- and Zero-Interest Loans

Flexible financing designed specifically for small farmers and food businesses, with terms that reflect real-world conditions.

Support for Growth

Connecting entrepreneurs with resources, opportunities, and an established local food network.

The TGFM Foundation is designed to support:

-Small and mid-sized farms
-Food producers and makers
-Market vendors
-Early-stage food businesses
-Food entrepreneurs who may not have access to traditional financing

If you are building or growing a food-based business and need support, this foundation is for you.

We are currently securing initial funding and expect to launch our first round of grants and loans once funding is in place.

Applications will open once programs are finalized.

Be the first to know when applications open and when funding becomes available.

Whether you’re a farmer, food entrepreneur, or supporter of local food systems, we’ll keep you informed as we grow.

We will soon begin accepting tax-deductible donations to support small farmers and food entrepreneurs.

If you’re interested in contributing to this work, we invite you to donate now to support our launch.
